About the talk

Dr Jess Wade is a Research Fellow at Imperial College London investigating spin selective charge transport through chiral systems in the Department of Materials. As well as speaking on this work and her career thus far, Jess will talk on work outside the lab. This work has included campaigning for greater diversity in science, such as involving more women in physics and STEM subjects more broadly, as well as tackling systemic gender and racial biases Wikipedia. Please join us for what will be a fascinating talk on the barriers in science and how to navigate them as an early career researcher.
